Live Stickers

You can now create live stickers of your photos on your iPhone. Whether you have a screenshot or a photo, you can customize it to create stickers. You can then send these stickers to your friends over iMessage or use them anywhere you want to. This lets you fiddle around with your photos and get away from the limited stickers present in the library.

Journaling App

Apple introduced Journaling app for iOS 17. You can use this app to track your daily activities, which can later be used to determine what you do all day. This app will also suggest topics that you can write on. Reports also suggest that this app will be integrated with messages and calls and can detect your friends near you.

New Accessibility Features

Apple in May previewed various accessibility features that will be introduced with iOS 17. Some of the accessibility features that you will see are assistive access, personal voice, live speed, Siri speed speech, magnifier point and speak, detection mode, etc.

Updated Health App

Apple’s Health App will get new features with the iOS 17 updated. The Health app will come with support for mood and emotion tracking. Users will be able to log their mood on the app after the update. Not only this, but users can also answer questions about their day. There will be standardized mental health assessments on the Health app which will alert you if you are on the verge of suffering from some mental health issues.

The Health app also has some new features for eyesight. For instance, the phone will send a prompt if you keep your phone close to your eyes.

iOS 17 comes with a new StandBy Mode. With this feature, your phone will turn your phone into a smart display that shows information like time, date, etc, when you keep it in landscape on a stand.
You can now access Siri by saying ‘Siri’ instead of ‘Hey Siri.’
The private browsing sessions on the Safari browser will block all the trackers. It will also lock the session when you are not using the private session.
You will now be able to share AirTags with others.
Apple also upgraded AirDrop by adding NameDrop. With AirDrop, you can share files, but NameDrop allows you to share your contact information with other iPhone users by holding your iPhones close together.
