The fox will now be loyal to you and will only follow you. However, you will have to take care of it. The fox will defend you from dangers during your journey. They will protect you from other mobs if they attack you. However, the fox may scamper off during the day, so you will have to fence it.

If you choose to tame a white fox and a red fox, then there is a 50% chance of the fox red and a 50% chance for it to be white. However, if you are taming the foxes of the same color, then the newly born fox will be of the same color as the foxes you have bred.
